How Training Works
Most MakerSpace equipment needs a one-time training before you use it for the first time. Trainings are free, one-on-one, and take place in person in Alkek 102. Once you’re trained, you can use that equipment any time the MakerSpace is open, for as long as your NetID is active. Training never expires.
How to schedule
- Check the calendar below for an open time (green). Striped times mean no trainer is available, and booked blocks are trainings or events already scheduled.
- Click an open time, or use Book a training, to choose your equipment and time in Microsoft Bookings.
- Watch for the confirmation email, and add it to your calendar. If you did not receive an email, then it did not go through.
